Why washable paper?
Our AGGO material is made from tree-farm cellulose fibres, waxed with natural vegetable oils, and worked by hand by Tuscan artisans. It folds like fabric, cleans with a damp cloth, and grows more beautiful with age. Not paper as you know it — something entirely its own.

Our Story: How It All Began
UASHMAMA began with one question from Marco Marconi: could paper carry the beauty of leather while weighing almost nothing? After years of study in his Tuscan workshop, he created our signature washable paper. Today it’s still handmade by the Marconi family and the artisans who work beside them.
