We are so thrilled to share the news of our newest UASHMAMA store opening in Highlands, North Carolina!  Our long-term plans have always included expanding our brick & mortar locations across the country and we couldn’t be more excited about our second store location in this beautiful mountain town.  The success of our flagship store in Charleston, SC has been a true blessing and continually fuels our passion for expanding the reach and knowledge of this brand we love so much.

Nestled in the southwestern corner of North Carolina, Highlands is located in the Appalachian Mountains within the Nantahala National Forest.  At just over 4,000 ft elevation, Highlands is a respite from the heat of summer and is perfectly cozy in the winter. 

Never been to Highlands?  Get your travel calendar out and start planning because it is a gem of a destination!  Surrounded by endless hiking trails, scenic overlooks, and waterfalls, it’s an outdoor lover’s dream.  Slow and romantic more your speed?  It caters to you as well.  With its quintessential Main Street running through the heart of town, there is no shortage of shopping and delicious food to enjoy.  Not to mention a plethora of charming boutique hotels and inns.   Old Edwards Hospitality Group has three fantastic properties to choose from:

• Old Edwards Inn & Spa – The utmost in luxury accommodation with a central location directly in the center of town on Main Street.
• 200 Main – Also on Main Street toward the end of town, this property is a bit more basic but outfitted with high quality touches and the convenience of walking to everything in town.
• Half-mile Farm – Located a 10-minute drive outside town, this is a luxury adult-only (18+) retreat surrounded by stunning mountain vistas.
