**The production process in our sustainable tanneries is chromium free. The leather used is a by-product from the food industry, thus utilizing available meterials to reduce waste.
Care
Hand wash or wipe clean. Wash in warm water using a mild detergent or soap. Be sure to rinse thoroughly and reshape before air drying. Do not wash the leather details.
Absolutely LOVE my Totty Hand Bag. Perfect size for everyday use. Love the story behind the company, very unique. Would highly recommend to friends and family. Only reason for not getting 5 stars - are the prices. Would love if they would offer more sales. It can be very difficult for the average earner to support more sustainability companies due to the cost.

I typically carry an open top tote, but I had coffee with a friend who carried the small Totty and I asked to look at it. I was shocked to know it was paper, and more so surprised that it could easily be washed and wiped cleaned. The zip top was a nice feature in addition to its wide base so it stands when you set it down, rather than flopping on its side. I am amazed it is made of paper because the material feels surprisingly durable and thick. I have transitioned to the large bag as my work bag and the smaller bag for my every day bag. Very happy with my purchases.
I have been on the hunt for the perfect little bag to run errands, and I finally found it. Plenty of room for my wallet, phone, huge sunglasses, keys and a scarf. It sits up firm and does not flop around like most bags. Plus, it is super cute, unique, eco-friendly, and stylish. The pink color is gorgeous and I love the genuine leather straps. I really enjoy having a bag that is different!
